RIP Guru

To one of the dopest MC's ever to ryhme, rest in peace Keith "Guru" Elam (July 17, 1966 – April 19, 2010). Guru was the lyrical wordsmith laying down the tracks with DJ Premier making the rap group Gangstarr.

Guru founded Gangstarr in 1987, and first caught my attention with his innovative style on 1993's Daily Operation. Here is video of the classic "You Know My Steez" off the 1998 album "Moment of Truth." Guru also released a series of solo albums, including the Jazzmatazz series.

Hatton v. Castillo

Here is Ricky Hatton fighting Jose Luis Castillo (60-10) in at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on 6/23/07. Hatton has not had a fight scheduled since his KO loss to Manny Pacquiao. Hatton is (45-2) with 32 KO's having attained IBO, IBF, WBA and WBU championships.
